Metamorphosis
Like all butterflies, Morpho butterflies undergo complete metamorphosis, transitioning from egg to larva (caterpillar), then to pupa (chrysalis), and finally to adult. The chrysalis stage is particularly fascinating as it often has a metallic, golden appearance.
Short Lifespan
